BBC Skillswise. Skillswise aims to help adults improve their reading, writing and maths skills. |
These are some really simple online exercises for peiople who are just learning to use English (and quite possibly computers as well). They consist of matching exercises, hangman, word order, vocabulary development. They are ESOL friendly (developed for use in city college manchester in 2001) and can also be used for ELT, ESL, EAL, EFL and so on or just for literacy work with low level language learners. They are meant to be interactive and aim to encourage, autonomy, self-directed study skills in a CALL, ILT environment.
